Find the right messages fast, open the thread, reply with templates and AI assist, and send confidently.
What you'll learn
How to find and filter messages, open conversation threads, reply using templates and AI assist, and personalise responses before sending.
How to view and reply to messages
A simple flow to find the right messages and respond without missing anything.
-
Click Label at the top of the inbox.
-
Select the relevant label (for example: Interested, Needs reply, Client replies).
This focuses you on messages that actually need action.
-
Click the message you want to respond to. This opens the Thread — the full conversation, plus the prospect's email address and details.
-
Once inside the thread, you'll see the Prospect Details panel and reply controls.
Prospect details panel
This panel pulls in contextual info about the prospect from the conversation itself:
- Conversation details (message history, email address, channel, subject)
- Enrichment data (if your campaign pulled in info from Clay, LinkedIn data, or other enrichment tools)
You can toggle it off any time if you'd prefer a distraction-free reply view.
- Click Reply in the bottom-right of the message panel.
- Type your response — or type # to insert a saved reply template. See Using reply templates for how those work.
- To compose with AI assistance, click the bot icon in the reply box and let the AI suggest a draft.
Meeting activity
When a meeting is booked, rescheduled, or cancelled through Calendly or Cal.com, it shows up as a pill inside the thread. You don't need to switch tabs to know whether something landed.
Team member visibility
In the thread's "More info" section, you can see which team member sent each reply, along with their name and sender email. This works for both email and LinkedIn conversations.
It's handy for:
- Seeing who has replied to a prospect
- Avoiding doubled-up replies when more than one person is on a shared inbox
- Reviewing sender context without leaving the thread
Personalisation tips
Personalise your reply using:
- Variables (for example the prospect's first name)
- Text formatting from the toolbar above the reply box
- Attachments
- Your signature
- Read it back to make sure you're replying to the right contact, then click Send. The recipient's email address is filled in automatically.
Replies are sent automatically from the connected sender (email or LinkedIn) — you don't need to pick a "from" address.
