Keyboard shortcuts
Fly through your inbox with the full list of keyboard shortcuts for replies, labels, and navigation.
Where to find them
Open the Keyboard Shortcuts panel at any time by hitting Ctrl + K (⌘K on macOS) or clicking the keyboard icon. From there you can browse all shortcuts, search by action, and turn individual bindings on or off.
Label management

|---|---|---|
| Open label dropdown | Ctrl + I | Opens the label picker so you can browse labels |
| Toggle labels | ↑ / ↓ | Move through available labels in the dropdown |
| Select / unselect labels | Space | Adds or removes the highlighted label |
Inbox key bindings

|---|---|---|
| Refresh thread | Ctrl + R | Reloads the current conversation for new replies |
| Move to archive | ↑ + Ctrl + A | Archives the current thread from the main inbox |
| Move to trash | Ctrl + Backspace | Sends the thread to trash — careful, it's a fast action |
| Toggle message popup | Ctrl + M | Opens or closes the popup view for focused reading |
| Send reply | Ctrl + Enter | Sends your reply immediately |
Navigation

|---|---|---|
| Open workspace switcher | Ctrl + W | Opens the workspace modal |
| Open keyboard shortcuts | Ctrl + K | Opens this reference panel without going to Settings |
| Search for a message | Ctrl + S | Opens the quick search overlay across your inbox |
| Next prospect | Ctrl + ↓ | Move to the next prospect in your list |

| Next view tab | Ctrl + ↑ + → | Switch to the next tab in your current view |
| Previous view tab | Ctrl + ↓ + ← | Switch to the previous tab in your current view |
Platform note
On macOS, use ⌘ (Command) in place of Ctrl. A few combinations vary slightly by operating system — when in doubt, open the shortcuts panel and check.
Turning shortcuts off
If you'd rather use the mouse, you can disable key bindings entirely with the Key Bindings toggle in the shortcuts panel.
