How to connect your LinkedIn account to your Algominds LinkedIn workspace using your email and password, what to expect during the connection, and how to keep the account stable so your campaigns don't drop.

Setting up LinkedIn is quick — most people are done in 2–4 minutes.

How the connection works

You connect using your LinkedIn login email and password. We let the system automatically log you back in when your session expires, so your account stays connected and your campaigns keep running without you having to reconnect manually.

For the best stability, set up infinite login alongside the credentials connection — that's the single biggest thing you can do to stop LinkedIn from disconnecting your account mid-campaign. See Activate infinite login.

Steps

1. In your Algominds LinkedIn workspace, go to LinkedIn accounts.
2. Click Connect account.
3. Enter your LinkedIn email and password.
4. Pick an inbox privacy option:
   • Track and import all LinkedIn conversations (last 30 days + future), or
   • Track only conversations started from Algominds.
5. Wait 1–4 minutes while the connection finishes in the background.

What happens with two-factor authentication

If 2FA is enabled on your LinkedIn account, the connection status will switch to PIN required. Enter the valid PIN (from email, SMS, or your authenticator app) within the time window shown.

The status progresses like this: Connecting → PIN required (if applicable) → Syncing → Available. The full sync takes anywhere from a few seconds to about 15 minutes.

Security

Your credentials are hashed before being stored. Nobody on the Algominds side can see your raw password — even our engineers.

After you're connected

Once your account shows Available, the workspace begins syncing your conversations based on the inbox-privacy option you picked. From there, the Algominds team can start running campaigns from this account.

If your account drops to a different status (PIN required, Disconnected, etc.), hit the Ask Algominds button in the help center and we'll walk you through fixing it.

Strongly recommended: activate infinite login

Standard credentials connection works, but LinkedIn occasionally signs accounts out — and when that happens your campaigns pause until you reconnect. Infinite login uses a 2FA secret key so we can keep your session active indefinitely without you needing to log back in. It takes about 4 minutes to set up.
